"First encounter" policies

Over the past few years, I've seen more than one person show up at Otafest as a particular character. I'm open to this idea. Although, this kind of situation has been somewhat detrimental for recent personal objectives during 2013's fear/survival mission and its overtime extension.

It's time to bring up a personal condition I use: "First encounter" policies.

These so-called policies, as it were, would mean that I would restrict myself to the first person I encounter as a given character throughout [5161814]'s three days. This means that I would only give these people the opportunity to write something encouraging (or motivational) in my books, to try to cheer me up or deter any delusional fears (...or nervousness) I may have.

I mean, it didn't seem to make sense during May 2013 for me to let two occurrences of the same cosplay character to write in my books, and I clearly didn't plan for any papercraft giveaways on Nov. 30, 2013 to occur this way, either. This may mean I have to be a bit more restrained, as I may end up with false hope that there would be a group of five that would have that same character or someone who would only show up later in the day, or not on day 1 at all.

However, given the unlikelihood for someone to show up as certain characters (probably because it'd be more fitting for a character from Western media to show up at, say, the Comic Expo), it would mean I'd be overthinking matters as well. Furthermore, I had the idea to consider the upcoming [5161814] missions an "automatic failure" to me if not all my personal conditions were met, either.

Maybe another reason would be that there's only so much room on those blank pages. But if I have more to tell, I will post.
