"You left a hole where my heart should be."Positives:
-Breaking Benjamin, "Breath"
- Another chance to seek out characters and have them do "the usual", since I've been under withdrawal since late May 2014. It's also called "keeping an open mind" about which shows/movies are being represented.
- RESULT: Two never-before-encountered cosplay characters, listed as expected "Potential cosplay character targets" objectives for the original [5161814] mission, have been met with.
- Thus, a chance to potentially attempt a positive turnaround of the plot shakeups I promised (Otafest debriefings REDUX chapter 19); events inspired by pre-overtime [5161814]'s negative influences would become less severe in future Opposition/Resurrection episodes. There may even be a chance for someone to actually turn good, and maybe "I" don't need to be so angry.
- RESULT: An alleged escapee during the original mission, who was previously met during the dark times (2012), had been tracked down and reunited with in a meetup, with the help of Person A.
- A Sept. 13, 2014 announcement declared that there will be a guest who's been in shows that I actually know of, who doesn't have to count under "I have a childhood to answer for".
- Here's a clue drop: One of the characters in question has used a sword (for sake of simplicity, I'll call it a sword instead of a rapier) in her originating series. In the mashup crossover Opposition/Resurrection; this sword has been stolen by the main antagonists, and the character was last seen with a "Missing" poster.
- RESULT: Let's just say the autograph session with Cherami Leigh went very well. For some reason, I even printed out the "Missing Lambent Light" poster from Opposition/Resurrection episode 3 and showed it to her. However, her Sword Art Online character was the primary focus here.
- An Oct. 4, 2014 announcement, during the 2nd pin trading party, declared another guest who's been in shows that I actually know of. While some research was required, with more to follow within the month, this put the situation at a very close margin. Ultimately, though, [5161814]: overtime was finally declared the same night, and a Flash short was released with a countdown the following day.
- Here's a clue drop: A character in question was featured in the announcement short itself. Another character in question had previously worked with a particular character named Kurisu, who had recently appeared in the crossover Opposition/Resurrection.
- RESULT: The session with J. Michael Tatum was more difficult due to disciplinary countermeasures, but things worked out with satisfactory results. Yet due to this, his Steins;Gate character was the main focus.
- In terms of opening my mind to new characters, I just met a new Otafest mascot character on Oct. 4, 2014. I am not willing to mention her character name here, though, but it's all over FB.
- However, the official fictional backstory, being released in parts, seems to indicate something is going on with her. Um... Yeah, her. It's making me question my decision to get this character to do the usual at the time, leaving me with worries in the form of "I just met her last Saturday. Why is she doing that?!". But you know how my paranoia is with things like this.
- RESULT: The mascot was eventually met with after being busy for some time and a near-escape, and arrangements were made so that eventually all four mascots could meet up, too.
- A musical artist, previously named on this blog as Kieran S., is making her return, confirming a statement she made all the way back on August 18. (July-August 2014 status update, "August 18, 2014")
- However, she is now associated with a new primary objective involving Elsa from Frozen, a "character target" encounter objective previously believed completed.
- This objective would otherwise be marked as mandatory enough to be a deciding factor toward automatic failure back in May 2014. Due to info published on Nov. 12, this objective is believed to no longer be achievable, contributing to the negative turnaround situation as stated below.
- RESULT: Although Kieran was busy throughout most of the day, a meetup eventually occurred, and the objective completed successfully.
- It would mean I've lied again, like I did numerous times before. (e.g. "fatal decision", 2012)
- I structured everything around May 2014 being my final time/around my departure, despite having to loophole my own objectives so I wouldn't fail.
Due to the September 2014 snowstorms, one of the mascots will be unaccounted for, leading to potential and very likely concerns supporting the paranoid statements, "Nothing's where they're supposed to be" / "They can't have got away from me again".*

UPDATE: Info gathered on Oct. 4, 2014 suggests the opposite.- However, if one argues I should "count my blessings", then during [5161814], "Of course, the three Otafest mascots, Sephonie, Aurora, and June, were cosplay encounter objectives as well". (Otafest debriefings REDUX chapter 16)
- Plus, Seph is not the main mascot of Aurora, anyway. Aurora is.
- Yet recently I was also led to believe, for some time, that Seph is making me reconsider my allegiance to her and Aurora once more of the official fictional backstory was revealed.
- RESULT: Not true. All four mascots were accounted for, and the official fictional backstory is a fictionalized drama play, much like Op/Res is a fictional dramatization of actual events.
- After minor location scouting on Sept. 10, 2014, I've declared that there would likely be more cases of "being on the other side of campus" in manners that would lead to "They can't have got away from me again".*
- Regardless, after more location scouting on October 9, I figured that the action may stay limited to some central buildings.
- RESULT: Verified. Action was generally limited to the central building complex, nicknamed "The Castle", and the building next to the train station.
- Facial recognition issues stemming from May 19, 2013 (fear/survival mission) may remain persistent enough to also lead to the above issue. Assistance is recommended.
Likewise, I would have to keep my hood down most of the time. No word on my sunglasses usage here.UPDATE: Never mind that. It'd be unfair to others if I did that and berated others for essentially doing the same thing of hiding their faces so well.- RESULT: The hood was barely used. Facial recognition issues only occurred with the alleged escapee during the original [5161814] mission. But she was tracked down by asking people in the area.... including the person in question, under advice from Person A. On a related note, two cosplay characters were coincidentally portrayed by cosplayer guests who were not the main concerns of [5161814]: overtime.
I'm currently proposing I act self-isolated, stoic, and-- once again-- militant, contrary to how the post-recovery me (the real me) usually acts and is supposed to act.UPDATE: From some advice received recently, maybe I should just be myself. I (still) want to try to avoid severe breakdowns (beating my own mind up). However, see below.- RESULT: A nervous breakdown and a near-outburst were reported. Stiff marching was witnessed at times.
- If the above mentioned turnaround attempt doesn't work, despite needing to count my blessings, the Op/Res plot shakeups for the fictional storyline may very likely end up being more severe than originally proposed on June 29, 2014 (Otafest debriefings REDUX). This is not related to the loopholes I had to make during [5161814]. Fictional counterparts affected by the plot shakeups, as well as the Fugitive character, will be more severe as a result.
- RESULT: Op/Res episode 5 is expected to end in a more severely brutal manner, including the Fugitive's sudden anger.
- If more things go wrong, there is a possibility for there to be negative turnarounds, due to being compounded with returned feelings of unease (see below).
- RESULT: All that seems to be noted is that "Hououin Kyouma does not have time for the Fugitive's bullcrud." Also, the alleged escapee during [5161814] was tracked down.
- As demonstrated on October 4, 2014, I still have bouts of uncertainty and/or reluctancy/hesitancy regarding character encounters. On-the-spot decisions must be made more quickly, or else I risk certain people escaping.
- RESULT: Despite escape risks, segment filming went smoothly. Yet there were some doubts in regards to general lack of character research, and not any potential alleged escapee scenarios. Also, segment filming slowed down tremendously in the evening after the reasonable objectives were completed.
- For the second time now, an incident on Twitter, which, like March 24, took place about 50 days before the main event in question, has left me dwelling on someone I refer to here as Person A for confidentiality reasons (Otafest debriefings REDUX chapters 12 and 16).
- Here's a clue drop: That damn newscast (from 2012) is at it again. I had better move those recordings out of the PSP and tablet as soon as that October 2014 power outage is dealt with....
- However, her light is shining brightly in the darkness. Why must there be all that negativity?
- RESULT: For now, let's say that things went very smoothly with Person A.
- As of the Twitter algorithms incident, my mind probably regressed back to fear/survival mission (2013) or fatal decision (2012) levels of unease. Thankfully, I had time to sort my mind out and bring it back to recovery and stability.
- RESULT: As above, a nervous breakdown and a near-outburst were reported, but despite any near-escape situations, arrangements were eventually made.
